Reese Witherspoon Hit By A Car While Jogging In Santa Monica

Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car while jogging in Santa Monica on Wednesday afternoon.

She was apparently running through a crosswalk when she was struck by an elderly driver.

Although the 35-year-old actress was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, a rep for the actress says she was not seriously injured and is “resting comfortably at home,” reported the Santa Monica Daily Press.

Witherspoon is best known for her Oscar-winning performance in the Johnny Cash biopic “Walk The Line,” and her role as Elle Woods in 2001’s “Legally Blonde.”
