
There’s hummus among us!
Try out this great homemade recipe for hummus without any of the additives or preservatives that you’ll get in store-bought dips.
It’s easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 heaping tbsp of tahini
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp water
- 1-2 clove(s) of garlic, depending on your tolerance!
Directions:
Combine all of your ingredients in a blender or food processor.
Whirl it all together until you have a creamy paste.
Serve with baked whole wheat pita chips, or alongside sliced jicama, carrots, and celery.
