Stroller RECALL – 2 Million Graco Strollers Recalled After Infant Deaths

Graco is recalling 2 million strollers after reports that four infants died. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall stating that the four infants were trapped inside these strollers and strangled.

The recalled strollers are the versions of the Graco Quattro Tour and MetroLite strollers and travel systems made before 2007.

According to the CPSC, babies who aren't strapped in properly can slide through the opening between the bottom of the seat and the stroller tray, thus getting trapped and strangled. Other infants received bruises and cuts from entrapment according to the CPSC.

These strollers were sold between November 2008 and December 2007.
