Scope, a product of Procter & Gamble Co, has recalled original mint mouthwashes in the 1 liter size.
Some units have a broken child-resistant cap and do not include the warning, "This Package for Households Without Young children," as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
The mouthwash contains ethyl alcohol. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, ethyl alcohol is toxic and can cause serious injury or death if ingested by children.
